Story Elements & Retell: This freebie is marketed towards the Froggy Goes to Camp story but it contains open-ended worksheets for targeting story elements (e.g. main character, setting) and story retell (e.g. beginning, middle, end) in both drawing a picture and writing format that can be utilized with any book.
Phonological Awareness: This freebie targets the beginning sounds of camping related words.
Vocabulary: Build vocabulary using these camping themed words. Try having your students use the words in a sentence, work on comparing and contrasting (e.g. tent vs bed, cabin vs house), or target describing.
